I was originally wrong about the deletion of old posts, but I think it will delete users' graphic icons when their accounts are deleted.  I would still suggest waiting on deleting accounts until we do another site scrape.  As long as a site scrape is looming, people tasked with that work will see spam bots if they break through again.

For now I think the registration lock is sufficient.
