I’d like to wait for RedFT’s response on the music. After that I agree
we should release a beta 7, and unless some critical bugs are found then
the RC should follow.

The RC is basically the final version. It shows what we think has
entered a releaseable state, and ideally, there will only one RC that
will directly correspond to the final release when the grace period is
over.
