Hi everyone,

it is time to come to some kind of conclusion regarding further
evolvement of the SFML port. Did anybody take a look at the lowlevel
graphics stack of the current OpenGL/SDL TSC (video.cpp) in the two
weeks that have passed since this thread was started? It’s not really
possible to talk about the complexity of the porting task if not
everybody involved has at least a rough overview of how the system
currently works. Especially it is necessary to have an opinion about how
feasable it is to hijack the cVideo class and replace its inner contents
with SFML instead of OpenGL/SDL. Doing so would speed up our SFML
porting efforts, but it is an abuse of SFML’s nicely designed API.
