datahead has pointed out to me earlier that he will not be available all
the time either, but as I said in the OP, this is not a
requirement. Luiji however pushed it a little far with nearly a year of
only very infrequent appearances.

I also think that datahead fits the position best. He has brought up
discussions about team membership, about the way we organise TSC, and
about how we cope with our SMC legacy earlier both in IRC and in private
emails with me, and has thus been actually doing some project
administrativa informally. Your contributions are very valuable for the
project, but currently I think datahead’s involvement in meta
discussions is a little more intense then yours.

This of course does not mean to exclude you from these discussions, by
no means! Both me and the future project lead are going to be very happy
for any helping hand. We all hope you’ll stay with us for a longer time
:-)
