Re: [tsc-devel] LaTeX class file for document submissions

I just tried it. It appears TeXMaker works flawlessly with the
gd-document class. You just need to

1. Install the libertine fonts package with your distro's package manager.
2. Put the gl-document.cls file where I said in the OP
3. Set TeXMaker to use XeLaTeX or LuaLaTeX.

gd-document is a specification of the regular article-like class
scrartcl, which means you can simply treat it like an article document.

I tried by opening the 16-001.tex document I linked to in the OP. Looked
fine to me, although I’m obviously not a TeXMaker poweruser. TeXMaker
typeset it just fine (once I set it to XeLaTeX, didn’t find out how to
use LuaLaTeX).

Meanwhile I fixed the A4<->letter size paper problem. I forgot to pass
the option to the geometry package.

As for printing: I print these documents. Reading them on the screen is
tiring, and I like to pin notes to them (I did this with danfun’s
and your document already).

Vale,
Quintus
