I remember saying that it didn't *have* to be a document.  I said that I 
didn't think most people will have read it if it was only in the mailing 
list.  Yes, I think a document was a better choice, but I did not mean 
to insist; I simply wanted to explain my reasoning.

In the last meeting, people typed or pasted their explanations, which 
burned up a lot of time.  I had assumed the basic idea of documents was 
to prevent this.  If we do not post basic summaries of enumerated topic 
responses in one place, half or more of the people will miss them via 
the mailing list, and the authors of the ideas will need to retype them 
into the IRC meeting if they are to be seen.  This is a perfectly valid 
option, as long as we are willing to accept the retyping.

Also, I am sorry for the trouble in my first attempt to convert it to 
LaTeX; thank you for converting it for me.

Yes, it seems we had different views on documents' purposes.  We should 
definitely discuss this going forward.

Another option going forward is to tell people they need to signify 
postings as being intended as documents explicitly.  If a poster forgets 
to mark it, it will be his own mistake.
