If possible, I don't want to write an entire abstraction layer over
OpenGL and/or SFML. It just eats up time and I have severe doubts that
such a large task as rewriting the rendering engine is going to happen
anytime soon after the rewrite. If SFML is chosen as we appearently all
seem to find a good idea at least for the moment, there will be no move
off it anytime soon.
One note, though. I've found SFML does not map all keys to the input
queue. It's for example impossible to react on the [Pause] key.
