Re: [tsc-devel] Feature Freeze Discussion...

Would you prefer I add the current revision of Desert Break-In to github or wait until I fix the load/save bug for the scripted data?  It may be a little bit longer until this is fixed due to school demands. If I add now, would you prefer committing each of the original revisions in sequence for history's sake or just committing the latest one?

We just have to be willing to remove it later.  We should also file tasks in thetracker for each song that we need to request an original track for.  Doing thiswill prevent us from losing our individuality in the long term.
I think your selection for the title song works for now.  Don't borrow a songfor that one unless you have to.

Yes, this is what I was getting at.  Once we decide and set what deservesthe 2.0 status, the github information will be more meaningful.  We mightlist all potential 2.0 tasks (and all bugs) somewhere and have a discussion.
I'd also like to try to have task assignments more up to date if we can.  Idon't expect it'll ever be perfect, but I'm never quite sure who's working onwhat.

Same here - I was feeling guilty for not playing his level and not replying to his postin the secretchronicles.de forum (I couldn't find it last I looked).  This kind of thingis important for new users.

This sounds reasonable. As I pointed out on the tracker, I will
investigate the freely available music, though it may be on the cost of
our individuality. Getting away from the Mario music is much more
important.

That’s what the “Version 2.0.0” milestone on GitHub is for. See here:

It appears that there are some things in it that will probably have to
be removed due to the feature freeze, such as “multiple level exits for
overworld”.

Exactly.

This is something we should discuss after the 2.0.0 release. I don’t
expect 3.0.0 to be released right after 2.0.0. Instead I think we will
probably be adding features and doing small mechanics changes during the
2.x.x series, with the grand overhaul following in the 3.0.0 release,
which can then excessively break anything seen so far.

Levels are important. Any new levels should really be added; reminds me
also that ciro posted a revised version of Clear Night I had no time to
play yet:
