Actually, I guess what we really need to decide is whether we want to try to fix the world 3 bug before issuing the next beta, since it makes the game not finishable. It would be great to have the pipe line glitch fix in the next beta, but it's not by any means critical.

If we're going to be delayed with music and level fixes/additions, I would agree that a new beta release will help Windows users. It also will show anyone who's still watching on secretmaryo.org in the forums that we're making progress.
I'd be interested in having the pipe line glitch fixed before we release this next beta if possible so that we have a "complete" introduction of pipes (to our knowledge). Other than that it's probably ready for a new beta. I'm open to other ideas on when we do the next beta, though.

Hi everyone,
@datahead has pointed out to me that especially Windows users will profit from one or two additional beta versions before the final release. While I do find we should release the final version as soon as possible, the whole music topic has turned out to be much more of a blocker than expected. So I suggest to release beta 7 immediately, and release beta 8 after we have finished the music replacements.
Does this sound reasonable or does someone think we should do it another way?
Valete,
Quintus
