Yes, I have noticed that *if* this strange behaviour occurs, it is very
noticable. The death pit doesn’t kill Alex, and instead, he just
continues falling forever. Activating god mode and jumping like mad will
get you out of the pit again, but that’s obviously not normal gameplay.

I have to check out your video. Thanks for reproducing.
