My suggestion is:
- keep Debian installed on alexandria as it is now
- remove mailman, postgresql, and MX DNS records.
- install Nim forum https://github.com/nim-lang/nimforum . It's single
binary that uses SQLite, and very fast. It's easy to delete data if
required.
- run Nim forum etc in bash loop script. This is what I currently do with
Caddy webserver.
- if there is some cron requirements, write script that runs in bash loop,
and according to server time does actions, otherwise idles
